Window tint shades are typically measured in terms of the percentage of visible light transmission (VLT) they allow through the windows. Here are common levels of tint shades:

1. 5% Tint (Limo Tint):
   
   • Very dark.
   • Only 5% of visible light passes through.

1. 70% Tint:
   
   • Very light shade.

   • Minimal privacy but still reduces UV rays and some heat.
   • Usually legal for most car windows and sometimes used on windshields.
